Friendly welcome, nice breakfast-room, comfortable bedroom, only the bathroom-door couldn't be closed.

We highly recommend that you book here! The owner, Anne, is so friendly and hospitable, and cooks delicious breakfasts for each individual guest every morning. There's a buffet set out in the dining room with "cold" items (cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, meat, juice, and milk), and she also offers to cook you "hot" items like eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, and tea/coffee. She also helps you arrange any tours you may want to go on, and is very helpful overall. Some rooms have a lovely view of the bay (we were lucky enough to get one) and the location of the B&B is perfect -- just outside Galway City, but still easily accessible by public transit (taking 25 minutes at the most to get to the center of the city during peak hours, but usually a shorter transit). The room was well worth the money. We really enjoyed our stay here!

great breakfast!

I did my homework choosing a place to stay and could not have picked a better place. I LOVED this place. I thought the pictures online did it perfect justice. The area is beautiful and the b&b in a perfect location. The staff and food was wonderful. I loved my room and got to peek at some of the others and found them adorable as well. The breakfast room and courtyard were so very nice. If life gives me another opportunity to go to Galway, I don't think I'd look for anywhere else to stay.

Great B&B in a quite scenic location

Everything was excellent except for the WiFi connection which was quite unreliable.

Everything was perfect

Our stay at Rusheen Bay House was simply excellent. From the moment we arrived our host ensured all our needs were catered to and arranged for pick-ups for any tours we wished. The accomodation was immaculate but retained a homely feel usually missing from hotel stays. Our location in Salthill was convenient for shopping but still situated in a quiet bay with spectacular views. We would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Galway.

We had a nice time there.

Pleasant enough - room was very hot - discovered radiator on full even though it was 21 degrees outside! Very expensive - €134 for small double room - on checking now price is back down to €100 - obviously raised for Galway Races.

What can I say ! The accommodations surpassed our expectations. Rusheen Bay House is a goreous, clean, tasteful and heartwarming "home away from home" The proprietor Ann was friendly, warm, helpful and just a joy to chat with, while giving you your space. The breakfast was lovely as well. I would recommend these accommodations to anyone and everyone.
